Omri Livny

Twenty-three years in professional instruction: field head at Israel's national institute for sport, founder of a government-approved private college, and co-founder of a treatment center serving 3,000+ patients. He is now transferring that institutional record to the United States as OKOYA OCI.

Israeli role titles in this record translate literally as "animal-assisted therapy." This site follows the US and IAHAIO taxonomy, in which the umbrella term is Animal-Assisted Intervention (AAI).

2002–2009
Instructor, Yoel Geva (psychometric exam preparation). The start of 23 consecutive years of professional instruction.
2008–2015
Wingate Institute — Instructor, then Head of Animal-Assisted Intervention. Israel's national institute for sport. Formally appointed head of the field in July 2010. Under his leadership the program grew from roughly 30 to more than 150 students per year.
2015–present
Offek Center — Founder. Founded May 2015 as Israel's first multidisciplinary training institution for animal-assisted therapy and riding instruction. A private professional college for animal-assisted intervention: 20 course tracks; 3,013 students, with roughly 200 more trained through partner organizations. Operated with Ministry of Sports approval as an institute and approved lecturer; programs on the Ministry of Education's "Geffen" authorized list, including a matriculation track. Offek certifications are recognized by Israeli insurers as the professional-liability qualification standard.
2022–present
360 — Co-founder and Managing Director. Co-founded May 2022 with Keren Livny. A treatment center that has served 3,000+ patients, including veteran PTSD support programs that Omri directly ran.
2024–2025
ATIDIM — Certified math teacher; head of mathematics.
